Everyone needs a “Tune-Up” from time to time. Life is so busy that we often live our lives on automatic pilot; sometimes ignoring what really matters to us. Let us help you assess, refocus and align your life. Each of the sessions will start with powerful questions to help you clarify where you are right now. Next, each person will identify where they wish to grow or change. This will be accomplished through a life assessment, processing assignments, feedback and brainstorming. Mary and Kim will facilitate setting measurable, achievable steps so that each participant may have great confidence in meeting the goals they set.

Cost of all 4 Sessions: $200; $50 paid with Registration

Tolerations: Getting Rid of Irritations and Distractions

  A 2-Session Coaching Workshop to Help You To Identify and Adjust Areas in Your Life That are Draining You

When: 2 Saturdays Mornings 9:00am - Noon (Dates TBA)

We often want to hit the ground running after the New Year, then run into a brick wall. Identifying what irritations and distractions you are tolerating will help you tackle areas that are draining you of vital energy and focus. Learning to either eliminate them or to work around them is necessary to actually move forward. You'll be shocked and pleased how much energy and motivation bubbles up naturally once you eliminate these tolerations from your life. It is good to remember that there are some tolerations for which there are no solutions. In those situations, we are called to re-examine and choose another attitude. This workshop is designed to help you identify the Tolerations that are distracting and draining you and give you the tools to be successful.  We hope you'll join us!

Parenting Adolescents
A Parent-Coaching Group for Parents of Teens or Pre-Teens
 
New Groups Forming!

When: 8 Wednesdays Evenings 7:00 – 9:00pm
 8 Tuesday Mornings 10:00 -11:45am
(every other week, Dates TBA)
Where: Roseville, CA
Coaches: Mary Akey, M.A. and Kim Fredrickson, M.S.
Group size: 20; $45 per person, per session*

* Please note, since space is limited, Group participants will pay for all 8 sessions in the series, even if unable to attend every session.
This class will cover Biblical Principles, Helpful Insights, and Practical Ideas that will help you become an even more positive influence in your teen’s life.

Topics Include:

How Do You Raise A Teenager? *  How Parents and Teens Are Alike
Looking at the World through Teenage Eyes *
Deciding How to Parent  * When You Don’t Like Who Your Teen Is Becoming 
What Causes Conflict?  *  Handling Conflict*
Giving Your Children a Taste of God

These Groups will include helpful information, video clips, brainstorming, powerful coaching questions, and small group discussions to help you understand your teen better, and come up with solutions to help your teen and yourself
right where you are.
